Saifuddin M Naser
Managing Director
Mr. Saifuddin M. Naser has more than 25 years of senior management experience in leading financial institutions and banks at various capacities, working with both local and international banks and financial institutes.

Mr. Naser started his career as management trainee and later as Branch Manager in ANZ Grindlays Bank. He led the Premium banking project of ANZ Grindlays Bank which was later converted to Standard Chartered Priority Banking, he was the Senior Relationship Manager of Priority Banking in SCB before joining BRAC Bank as the Head of Retail Banking. He developed the Retail Banking and Distribution network of the then newly structured BRAC Bank and developed a sustainable funding model of SME financing. He led international standard BRAC Bank Core Banking Software project with successful implementation of "Finacle Core banking Software."

Later BRAC Board appointed him as the MD and CEO of BRAC Afghanistan Bank in 2007. Where he made a major contribution in SME development in the war-torn country, working directly with the IFC, IMF and Central Bank of Afghanistan. He developed a model of Retail banking to support the government salary payment system for various ministries of Afghanistan with the help of IMF and US Treasury Department to ensure the transparency in funding. For his innovative approach of sustainable business growth he was the first Bangladeshi awarded by THE ASIAN BANKERS the prestigious international award in financial sector as "Asian Promising Young Banker Award 2007" in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2008.

After returning the country he joined Union Capital Ltd as MD & CEO from 2008 to 2011 before he relocated himself to Canada and Joined BMO Bank of Montreal as Financial Manager. Later he came back and joined National Finance Ltd as Managing Director for a brief period of time before he left for health reason. He worked as a Senior Consultant in Toronto till then.

Board of National Finance Limited re-appointed Mr. Naser as Managing Director to continue his legacy to develop NFL. He has joined back NFL as Managing Director from 12th July 2021.

He has completed his graduation in Business Administration from Assumption University (ABAC) and later obtained his post-graduation Certification from the University of Toronto in Enterprise Risk Management. He was also a key participant in "Risk Management for Corporate Leaders" organized by Harvard Business School in MA USA in 2010. He has attended various seminars, workshops and trainings in home and abroad. He was a key note speaker on Risk Management of the financial institutions in developing countries organized by IFC in Dubai in 2007. He was also invited to join IFC meet in Luxembourg in a seminar of "Leveraging Human Capital" in 2008. Mr. Naser is the only Bangladeshi attended the APEC CEO Summit as an official delegate in Singapore 2009 and also in USA 2011.

Mr. Naser also elected as EC member of BLFCA for two terms and was also the member of the FBCCI (Capital Market Reform Committee) for two years. He also served as Board member of Bangladesh Institution of Bank Management. Mr. Naser is personally associated with many social organizations including SAHIC (Society for Assistance to Hearing Impaired Children).
